Management issues have been getting more complicated through the transformation of business habits and technology. Involvement of the new generations to the business life has direct impacts on human resources management field. In such a changing environment the importance of Human Resources Management as a crucial strategic asset for organizations is increasing each and every day. With the increased emphasis on Human Resources Management activities it became essential for those who aspire to have managerial positions in organizations to develop relevant skills. Human Resources Management master program aims to develop the ability of critical thinking and the comprehensive knowledge in all fields of HR.
Duration of the program is two years. Students are required to complete 10 courses. There are 7 core courses and 3 elective courses. All courses are held on the weekday evenings. Core courses cover the fields of Organizational Behavior, Strategy, Staffing, Performance Appraisal, Compensation Management, Research Methods, and Labor Law. Elective courses cover subjects like Leadership, Communication Skills, Coaching and Mentoring, Industrial Relations, Training and Development, Organizational Change and Adaptation. Seminars are held with the participation of lecturers and instructors from the sector and in those issues such as career planning, talent management etc. Courses adopt participative class lectures, class exercises, academic article discussions, group projects and class participation as methods of learning. Thanks to this diversity, the program targets to advance the abilities of the students in both theoretic and application levels.
