Students need the original of the Undergraduate Diploma. The institution which has issued the diploma must be recognised by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey. The student is responsible for making sure that the institution is recognised in Turkey. For that the student can apply for the recognition in the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic and attach the proof of recognision to the application. If the student does no apply for the recognition then Dogus University will send the institution information to the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic for the recognition. In case the institution will not pass the recognition the student’s registration will be cancelled.

Genelde okulunuzdan uygun bir transkript alabilirsiniz. Koşullara uygun bir transkript alamıyorsanız, belgelerin orijinalleri ile birlikte noter onaylı çevirilerini de almanız gerekmektedir.
Kesin kayıt tarihlerinde Üniversiteye gittiğinizde yanınızda giriş koşul belgelerinin orijinallerini götürmeniz gerekmektedir.
Graduate students accepted to a program taught in English have to prove their proficiency in English before they can start their academic studies. International students who are unable to submit the required English language test scores during their application can take the Dogus University English Proficiency Test upon arrival. Students who fail the test will attend Dogus University Intensive English Program for one year. This year is not included in the total number of years required for graduation.

The fundamental goal of Doğuş University Institute of Social Sciences, Communication Studies Graduate Program is to provide students with the opportunities to develop a disciplinary approach apply scientific methods and cope with events, issues and problems theoretically, analyze, discuss, perform research, and produce publications in their own specialized areas.
Doğuş University the Institute of Social Sciences, Communication Studies Department offers opportunities for students to choose English – Turkish / Thesis – Non-thesis programs. The Communication Sciences program (English – Turkish / Thesis/ Non -Thesis) has been designed to produce students who don’t discriminate between the production of theoretical perspective of culture and art and also to educate individuals to have social responsibility and analytical skills.
In this program, students are expected to understand (analyze) theoretically the role of communication in a historical perspective the importance of visual culture in social configuration, the language and impact of media messages and the complex relation between popular culture and media.
The lessons of Doğuş University Communication Studies graduate program have been prepared to enable the contemporary communication subjects to be discussed at master’s degree level and not to cause any problems of equivalence with other world universities. Communication Studies Postgraduate program enables its students to start business life in the world as accredited specialists and academicians by cooperating and sharing information with world universities. This program also aims at strengthening the collective consciousness between the universities of the world and Turkey implementing the intercultural interaction through international cooperation.
In the Communication Studies Thesis Program students are expected to produce (prepare / submit) a master’s degree thesis that will contribute to their knowledge. A Non – Thesis program has been designed for students who want to develop themselves in the specialized areas of Communication Studies rather than to carry on their academic education.
In this program, after students have completed their work, they can graduate by preparing a project in a specialized area of their choice instead of a thesis.
