Диплом о получении высшего образования второй ступени (или выше) Students need the original of the Postgraduate Diploma. The institution which has issued the diploma must be recognised by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey. The student is responsible for making sure that the institution is recognised in Turkey. For that the student can apply for the recognition in the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic and attach the proof of recognision to the application. If the student does no apply for the recognition then Dogus University will send the institution information to the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic for the recognition. In case the institution will not pass the recognition the student’s registration will be cancelled. Документы об образовании принимаются на следующих языках: английский / турецкий. Обзор

To train and educate researchers: Due to the fact that computer and communication technologies are developing so fast, the need to employ people who can be useful in research-development activities is increasing so fast. During the period of globalization and European Union there is a tremendous need for researchers with masters and PhD degrees who possess the ability to analyze and synthesize , can follow up the international relations, follow the latest developments, create new ideas and direct research- development projects.
This program will aid to educate and train such researchers who will have the above
characteristics.

To train and educate academicians: Particularly in computer engineering there are not enough academic personal. Those who get their masters and /or PhD from Turkey or abroad find very attractive offers from private sector, therefore prefer those institutions who make more attractive offers. Therefore such a program will contribute to the increase of academicians and will provide career opportunities in academic instructions.

Структура программы

Students who are following the PhD program take 7 courses with a total of 21 credits. Those who are accepted with a BSc degree have to take 14 courses of a total of 42 credits. Except the courses students required pass a Qualifying Exam probably at the end of the second year. After this they present a thesis proposal and start their research studies. The final step before earning the PhD degree is thesis defense.
