With the increasing importance of information technologies (IT), companies of all sizes started to pay significant attention and allocate their resources to potential technology projects which will help to differentiate themselves in today’s highly competitive and global markets. As a result, the demand for individuals who can manage information, technology and people has increased everywhere.
The MIS program aims to help its students experience the state-of-the art knowledge in MIS. Program courses are structured to exhibit the related state-of-the art knowledge and capability. The program is updated annually, based on contemporary technological and managerial improvements and needs. The aim is to enhance the knowledge of professionals with an advanced understanding of the information systems through creating and supporting a productive and interactive educational environment.
The Program without a thesis requires the completion of a minimum of 10 courses and the preparation and presentation of a “Term Project”. The course work consists of 5 IT or MIS coded elective courses and 5 complementary elective courses from other departments, such as Executive MBA, CSE, or IT Curriculum.
