Our department, which aims to train scientist who can capable of meeting the every-changing needs of human and society, gives master’s degree education based on basic principles and applications of psychology. Its purposes are to provide students knowledge and field experience with a multidisciplinary approach. to graduate students who have high awareness of individual and social responsibilities and to provide students required information and skills for diverse fields of study in psychology with gaining a basic scientific approach.
The psychology master’s degree program provides students with classroom and laboratory experience that prepares them to work in specialized research and applied fields within psychology and/or entry into clinical and experimental doctoral programs. Master’s students can pursue a general psychology track or a specialty track in either personality/social or biological/experimental psychology.
Program graduates are pursuing doctoral study or working at a range of psychology-related careers, including clinical-medical research, teaching, counseling and policy formulation, law enforcement and government and regulatory agencies.
