Mechatronics Program educates experts who will be able to develop and use modern and smart products in which machine, electricity, electronics, control systems technology and computer software all work together by utilizing the technology of the future.
Aim of this program is to train technical personnel who has knowledge of Electricity, analog-to-digital electronics, automation, microcomputer systems and equipments that used in industry,can repair and maintaince these sytems maintenance, and can use the programmable devices.
The fundamental objective of this program is to educate qualified technical staff and prospective managers who will be able to work notably at industrial public and private establishments, have good level of vocational knowledge and are able to apply their knowledge and are able to work internationally.
The education of qualified technical workers who apply machine, electricity, electronics and control systems technology and computer software together as a whole in their careers, are skilled and knowledgeable about the introduction, design, assembly, use, maintenance, repair and development of all tools, appliances, equipment, hardware and fittings that are used in industrial and commercial work areas and that are mechanical, hydrolic-pneumatic, electrical or electronic based or computer controlled and who have certain vocational capabilities have been planned. Graduates of this program will receive the title of “Mechatronics Technologist.”
Students who graduate from this program can work at technical service departments of private sector companies, at maintenance, manufacturing and production departments of various factories, in the recyclable energy sector, at R&D companies, at public and private sector companies in the service sector and at the maintenance and production departments of factories that produce various electronic products. They can also work at factories that manufacture machines, at the control and automation departments of companies, at the station assembly and maintenance departments og mobile phone companies, alongside free lance engineers and in the industry in different positions. Additionally, they can also work at all sectors that contain robotic technology. They can also open a private office that is related to their profession if they so desire.
