The main objective of Interior Architecture Program is to train contemporary interior architects equipped with necessary knowledge thinking creative along with interior design abilities according to an architectural orientation, detail and design interior spaces. The program is arranged around art, architecture, production technology and environmental control classes that bring together interior architecture-focused studio/project works. All these aspects meets in the studio classes led by academic professionals that support the creation of a working knowledge base.
During the freshman and sophomore years, students not only receive Interior Architecture Design class but also get educated in art and design history, Design Principles, Technical and Artistic hands-on training, virtual presentation techniques and studio hours.
For the junior and senior years of the course, curriculum improves the interior architectural design studies in means of the interior spaces in the context of interior architecture within the history and technology, which are dealt with various scales; primary aim is, to create unique and functional forms, which carries out detailed studies in terms of interior components. As well as designing new structures, program also includes renovation and restoration projects of the structure interiors.
The program aims not only designing spaces within the theories of discipline; applying natural and artificial lighting, acoustics, heating and cooling systems, but also provides the integrity of designing variety of artistic works, furniture designs, lighting fixture designs also issues such as selection of accessories…etc. All design classes are computerized.
