Turkish Language Certificate (C1 Level). In case there is no Turkish Language Certificate before enrollment, Üsküdar University offers for its candidate international students one-year (1-year) preparatory Turkish-language school intense program.
At least 2 reference(s) should be provided.
The purpose of the program is to train staff members to provide services for disadvantaged groups, particularly disabled, elderly, etc. and for child welfare, youth services, family protection, education, justice and social welfare services in a scientific framework.
Social workers have numerous job options; they can work in Social Work of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, central and provincial administrations, the Ministry of Health hospitals, guidance and research centres of the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and Employment Authority, State Planning Organization, private rehabilitation centres, non-governmental organizations that provide services to disadvantaged groups, (schools for hearing and visually impaired, child care centres, orphanages, kindergartens and day care centres, nursing homes, reformatories), prisons and probation offices under the Ministry of Justice, family planning and related organizations, and social welfare departments and social service units of local governments.
