Turkish Language Certificate (C1 Level). In case there is no Turkish Language Certificate before enrollment, Üsküdar University offers for its candidate international students one-year (1-year) preparatory Turkish-language school intense program.

The purpose of this program is to train qualified technicians who are physically healthy and strong, careful, and calm; who can make quick and accurate decisions, have a strong sense of responsibility, can effectively communicate with others; determine the problem of the patient by examining the patient’s condition and environment, and taking information from relatives; apply first aid techniques to the patients; provide the assistance to the police or firefighters to safely place the patient to the ambulance when necessary; provide emergency care services on the way; deliver the patient to the health care organizations; provide relevant information to the officials about the condition of the patient; give first aid services in emergency units of the hospitals; drive the ambulance if necessary.
Graduates receive associate degree, are qualified as «Paramedics» and work in emergency units of hospitals, in 112 emergency call centres and stations. There are specific clauses in the regulation of emergencies, 112 emergency call centres and ambulance services published by Ministry of Health stating that graduates of this program has to be hired.
