Advertising Design and Communication Department is constructed with the aim of training people needed in advanced industrial societies. The department which is formed by eligible academic staff provides a four-year bachelor degree shaped by the purpose of answering related sectors’ needs and the purpose of educating intellectual qualified.
During these four years, students are educated as qualified professionals both for the advertising sector and for the academic research institutions. The field of advertising design contains marketing, brand management, public relations, talent management, human resources, corporate communication besides advertisement. Thereby, the department’s curriculum is prepared in accordance with integrated structure and diversity of this field.
First 2 years of the department’s curriculum are comprised of core courses and parallel with other departments of the faculty. In third and fourth grade, students are canalized to practice-oriented courses according to their field of interest and tendencies. The number of elective courses increases in third and fourth grade. Department students will be able to choose the elective courses from the other faculty departments.
The students graduated from the Advertising Design and Communication Department have the opportunity to be employed in sectors and fields such as advertisement, public relations, marketing, human resources, political communication etc.
