This department aims to educate physiotherapists who can carry out evaluation, provide a good model regarding educational and vocational development, and apply the principles according to vocational standards. The problem of aging creates the necessity to protect health in parallel with technological and scientific developments, and this necessity is one of top priority in the preventive and medicinal “physical therapy and rehabilitation” field.
Graduates will receive a title of “physiotherapist”. Physiotherapists can work at universities, state or private hospitals, rehabilitation centres, private clinics, sport clubs, industrial plants, public health units, home rehabilitation, recreational centres, schools, thermal hotels, municipalities, school of disabled people, and primary health care services. Moreover, they have the possibility to continue their education attending national or international master programs.
