Undergraduate diploma (or higher)
Students need the original of the Undergraduate Diploma. The institution which has issued the diploma must be recognised by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey. The student is responsible for making sure that the institution is recognised in Turkey. For that the student can apply for the recognition in the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic and attach the proof of recognision to the application. If the student does no apply for the recognition then Dogus University will send the institution information to the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic for the recognition. In case the institution will not pass the recognition the student’s registration will be cancelled.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
Graduate students accepted to a program taught in Turkish have to prove their proficiency in Turkish before they can start their academic studies.
MBA program in Doğuş University which aims to reach global education standards started in September, 1998 and had its first graduate students in January, 2001.
The fundamental goal of the MBA program is to make a serious scientific and professional contribution to the education of next generation managers who have a global vision in Turkey which is in a process of integration with the world that will be accelerated in the 21st century. Basic qualities which Doğuş University MBA program looks for are to be able to follow the changes in the world, to be able to take responsibility and having interest in business and producing ideas. Doğuş University MBA program depends on improving leadership qualities which are necessary for middle echelon and top echelon staff members rather than technical skills. This program also gives the opportunity to be able to specialize to a certain degree on finance, marketing, human resources management and international business administration.
It is optional to have a MBA program with thesis or non-thesis. The non-thesis program consists of 30 credits hours of course work (10 courses) plus the non-credit MBA Project. The thesis program consists of 24 credits hours of course work (8 courses) plus the non-credit MBA Thesis. Candidates who graduated from a different subject apart from business administration or a subject related to it have to take among 3 academic preparation courses. One academic year has three 11-week trimesters. Each trimester students are recommended to take at least 6 at most 9 credits hours of course load. Program is completed in 4-6 semesters. A minimum of 3.00 GPA is mandatory for completion of the program.
Parallel MBA programs are conducted both in English and Turkish. Classes are held in the weekday’s evenings between 19.00 – 22.30.
