Overview
The aim to develop visual design skill for every tool including an image is the fundamental difference between this department and other similar departments in other university. To this end, this department, which is in a continuous evolution in accordance with the demands of technology, society and culture, aims to educate people who target information transfer by using digital technologies besides traditional media and methodological thinking, creativity, theoretic knowledge and practical knowledge. The students should also be able to restructure their visual environment and skilfully use visual technology in communication situations.

Students go through an applied education covering photography, computer, web design, desktop publishing, graphics, multi media design, publishing design, cyber culture, animation, typography, video sociology and communication. They are also equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills to work in the fields of multimedia, journals, newspapers, internet, intranet, cinema, television, graphics and advertising. At the end of their period of study, students will have learnt how to enhance the applications technology in daily life.
Career opportunities
Department graduates take various positions in visual-auditory media. Internet publishing, computer assisted design, advertising are other possible job opportunities.
