The mission of the department of the International Relations is to conduct critical research and to teach students subjects including the current trends in international politics, regional and domestic political developments and the foreign policy.
The vision of the department of International Relations is to train students who are knowledgeable in domestic and international politics, committed to regional specialisation, and capable of conducting extensive research in the discipline of International Relations.

Programme structure

The program of the Department of International Relations offers A Bachelor Degree to students who aspire to an interdisciplinary education and future career responsibilities in the field of International Relations.
The curriculum is based on a multi-disciplinary approach, and is designed to endow students with theoretical and empirical knowledge, to help them gain a systematic and latest understanding of all key issues in international relations.
The main objective of the program is to prepare students as international relations experts so that they can assume responsibilities in international organizations diplomacy and other fields of the public and private sectors.
Furthermore, the program attempts to provide fundamental undergraduate education in international relations for those students who intend to continue their graduate studies in this important field.

The graduates of the department of International Relations have variety of career opportunities depending on the students’ areas of interest and personal abilities.
The graduates of the department can be employed in public sector (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Intelligence Organization, EU departments of ministries, etc.),at universities, in financial sector, and in media.
