Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) Students need the original of the High School Diploma and an Equivalence Letter certifying that their High School Diploma is equivalent to Turkish High School Diploma. They can apply for the document at the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic or at the Turkish Embassy of their home country. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. A certificate of equivalence from the Ministry of Educaion of Turkey or from a Turkish Consulate to certify that the diploma is equivalent to a Turkish High School Diploma You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Overview
The aim of Faculty of Law at Doğuş University is to educate students to be qualified lawyers who will take on tasks in our country or abroad in accordance with the principles of contemporary legal education. The education involves compulsory and elective courses that are theoretical. Applied and course programmes and contents are improved constantly. The education is supported by scientific works such as national and international qualified seminars, conferences and panels.
Programme structure
In practice hours, the students will learn how to apply the theoretical knowledge in order to solve juristic problems (case method). Our students will be provided with a wide range of practice opportunity. In this way, our graduates who would like to become an advocate or a judge will be able to make correct choices regarding their profession and to adapt themselves to the practice with ease.
Optional law courses are Legal Parlance, Democratic Theory, Environmental Law, Traffic Law, Sports Law, Consumer Law, International Arbitration Law, Turkish Democracy History, International Maritime Law, Capital Market Law, European Convention of Human Rights in Theory and Practice, Attorney Law, Constitutional Jurisdiction, Methodology of Law, Criminology, Procurement Law, Zoning Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, The Law of International Institutions, Competition Law, International Criminal Law, Health Legislation, Transport Law, Insurance Law.
Thereby our students will have the opportunity to choose from various law related lessons in line with the field of study they want to excel at during their undergraduate studies.
