Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) Students need the original of the High School Diploma and an Equivalence Letter certifying that their High School Diploma is equivalent to Turkish High School Diploma. They can apply for the document at the Ministry of Education of the Turkish Republic or at the Turkish Embassy of their home country. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. A certificate of equivalence from the Ministry of Educaion of Turkey or from a Turkish Consulate to certify that the diploma is equivalent to a Turkish High School Diploma You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Language requirements | English Undergraduate students accepted to a program taught in English have to prove their proficiency in English before they can start their academic studies. International students who are unable to submit the required English language test scores during their application can take the Dogus University English Proficiency Test upon arrival. Students who fail the test will attend Dogus University Intensive English Program for one year. This year is not included in the total number of years required for graduation. Overview
In a world of rapid globalization it is inevitable that universities seek to follow this trend by reorganizing their education programs, starting new programs, or opening up new departments. Especially in countries like Turkey which have had closed economies till recent times, this becomes more crucial. In parallel with the rapid development of Doğuş University since its inauguration, the International Trade and Business Department has been established, and this department has started educating students in the academic year 2007/2008.
Programme structure
The purpose of this department is to fulfill the needs of the business world and to contribute to economic development of our country by educating individuals that are equipped with a strong theoretical background and techniques of application of international trade, business and finance. It is also designed that students, are to be endowed with thorough information about their country and the world as a whole, learn foreign languages at an advanced level, and internalize Kemalist principles.
